[TQ 8051 4899] Belgic Urn found [NAT] (1) A Belgic cinerary urn was found in Chart Sutton Vicarage garden and donated to the Kent Arch. Soc. by a Mr. E. Hughes some time prior to 1892. The urn, a biconical jar of brown ware (Swarling 19) is in store in Maidstone Museum. Chart Sutton Vicarage is now a school and although the principal, Mrs. Waller, was aware of the discovery, she could offer no further information. (2)
