Description from record TQ 66 NE 12 :
[TQ 66966838] Church [TU] (1)

Cobham Collegiate Church. The walls are partly of Kentish rag. The chancel with nave arcades is 13th c., the nave aisles, north porch and western tower date from the foundation of the College [TQ 66 NE 6] in the latter part of the 14thc. The remains of an arch discovered in 1860 embedded in the west wall of the chancel might have been assigned to the 11thc. but for its slightly pointed apex. It is impossible to account for it as an integral part of the existing fabric. The church was restored in the 19thc. [See AO/59/147/1] (2)
