Description from record TR 25 SE 39 :
An 18th c. dovecoe, octagonal in plan, about 100 metres NW of Knowlton Court (shown but not described on OS 1:2500 1957 at TR 28075339) Grade II*. (1)(2)

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOODNESTONE KNOWLTON TR 25 SE 3/69 Dovecot about 100 metres north 11.10.63 west of Knowlton Court GV II* Dovecoe. Early C18. Red brick with some blue headers with plain tiled roof. Octagonal plan. Plinth and plat band and unmoulded wooden eaves cornice to roof with small leaded dormers, and wooden and leaded cupola. Boarded door in semi-circular rebated surround to east, wooden casements to north and to west, and buttressed to the south west. Interior, pigeon shelves and boxing reported surviving.
