[Area TQ 583563] Neolithic implements found on Oldbury Hill, detailed in a letter to John Evans 18 10 1874. These consist of 8 entire celts and a considerable number of broken one, 50-60 scrapers; about 20 stone corn-crushers; 6 drilled hammers; 10-12 leaf shaped arrowheads; flint awls; hand rubbers for polishing; curved implements for chipping; spear points; etc. (1,2) Not identified in the late Sir E Harrison's collection held in Maidstone Museum store. (3)

2015 Volunteer Project suggested that TQ 55 NE 31 corresponds to NWK-6, No. 17, 18 + 42 from the Southern Rivers Project.
