Description from record TR 15 NW 237:
Nos 91 and 92 St Dunstan's Street [TR 14555810 - sited from HHR map]. Grade II. Medieval timber-framed buildings refaced 18thc. (1-2)

The Canterbury UAD states that:
The Gun inn was originally sited at No 7 St Dunstan's Street, but was moved at some time during the 19th cebtury across the road to its present location at No 92 St Dunstan's Street. No 7 St Dunstan's was the site of a few inns, such as The Thorn at the end of the 19th century, and many years earlier there was The Greyhound.

Licensing lists and directories give the following as innkeepers;
1846 G Whiting
1848 Clara Newport
1862 James Dodd

The GUN closed in 1912. (3)

Nos 91 & 92 TR 1458 SE 2/325
II GV
2. Mediaeval timber-framed buildings refaced in C18. 2 storeys painted brick. Attic storey to No 92 with 2 hips above. No 91 has 1 hipped dormer. Moulded stone parapet with rainwater head. 4 sashes in all with glazing bars intact, those to No 91 set in moulded architraves. Later shopfronts.
Nos 87 to 95 (consec), Garden Wall & gate piers to No 87 form a group.
