Description from record TR 04 NW 23 :
[TR 011 474] The Lake House. (1) The Lake House (located from O.S. 1:2500 1976 at TR 0102 4733) is a medieval stone house of c. 1300. It was built of flint rubble with ragstone dressings. Altered in the 17th century and perhaps later. The roof is mainly post-medieval, scheduled. (2) Lake House is a typical small manor house in the Norman style, dating from about 1300, and measuring only 45ft. by 26ft. 6in. overall (see illustration card). (3) Hall House, Grade II* Lake House. Late 13th century with 17th centuryroof and 19th century windows. (For full description see list). (4) The Lake House, scheduled. (5) Descheduled 26.3.97 (6)

Hall house. Late C13, with C17 roof and C19 windows. Flint and rubble with stone dressings and plain tile roof, brick window surrounds. Upper floor hall plan with staircase. Extension to north. Two storeys, hipped roof, central stack and end right. Irregular fenestration of brick "Dering" windows and C20 doors. West and south fronts each with 2 large brick buttresses. Interior: first floor hall, with 2 blocked arched windows either end, and central hearth, now marked by brick inserted stack. (See R.C.H.M. report, E.W. Parkin, 1968). Listing NGR: TR0101347326 (8)
