One isolated Bronze Age barbed-and-tanged arrowhead was found on the surface 100yards (99.14m) from North Pole Road within Barming Wood in 1950. The precise location is unknown but it was south of the road. The artefact is in Maidstone Museum Store.

In `about 1950' a BA barbed-and-tanged arrowhead was found, on the surface, about 100 yards from the road in Oaken Wood by Mr R. E. Hunt at approximately TQ 714 548. It is now in store in Maidstone Museum. (1)
