Summary

A Neolithic leaf-shaped arrowhead was found in the winter 1957-8 in Queen's Road, Maidstone, on land belonging to Darge Thomson Ltd. Mr. Darge stated that the arrowhead was sifted from a load of soil which had been transported to the nursery from the Ightham area of Kent, and its exact provenance was unknown.

A neolithic leaf-shaped arrowhead was found in the winter 1957-8 in Queen's Road, Maidstone, on land belonging to Darge Thomson Ltd., and presented to Maidstone Musuem (Acc.No.31.1958) (1) Mr. Darge stated that the arrowhead was sifted from a load of soil which had been transported to the nursery from the Ightham area of Kent, exact provenance unknown.
