Waterworks which developed from either 1863 or 1830. The site consists of a Listed GII brick windmill ( TR 05 NW 23) used originally to pump water. The cap and sails are missing and an iron water tank has been placed at its summit. To the rear of this is a rectangular overgrown structure likely to be a reservoir. To the east there is a brick engine house built in 1914 with a pitched roof, and an office building with a single storey extension workshop. Finally there are the waterworks cottages at the entrance.(1)
