The farmhouse was built before 1758 and extended after 140 to provide a farmworker's cottage. The original house is brick with plain tile roof with hipped roof dormers. It is double fronted with a variaty of windows, nonwe of which are original. The extension is of brick with a half hipped tile roof. The winodws are probably contemporary with wood casements and a horizontal glazing bar.(1)
