A large building or repair yard established btween c1870 and 1897 when a pair of small buildings were situated on the eastern side of a single slipway. Another structure had been added on the western side by 1909 but the yard was closed and all buildings cleared by 1933.(1) Photographs (2-5) Maps (6-8) No remains of the barge yard visible in the 2005 coastal survey (9)
