Borstal Manor Cement Works opened in c.1890 by J.L. Spoor. It was taken over by Neate & Taylor soon after opening and by W.R. Craske in 1898. The site closed c.1912. Marked on the 2nd and 3rd edition Ordnance survey maps (c.1891-1922).
