Half a perforated, polished quartzite macehead (prob. B.A.) was found by Burchell, about 1930, at approximately TQ 615 730. It came from the base of peaty alluvium on the W. side of the Ebbsfleet Valley, Springhead. Now in the British Museum. (a) (1)
