The Brewery was established 1848. Beer & Co, the owners and the time, went bankrupt in 1891. In 1894 it was acquired by B.C. Bushell & Co Ltd of Westerham. The brewing ceased in 1899 and the brewery was probably demolished at around the same time period too.(1) It is now the site of the magistrates court.
