The Brewery was run by E. Hawitt before 1859 and then by Hewitt & Clark by 1874. Then by H.D. Phelps 1882 - 1894 and R.& H. Havens 1894 - 1898. Later acquired by H.E. De Trafford in 1898, until it was sold by auction to Mackeson & Co in 1907.(1) Marked on the OS 25" map 3rd ed.and may poss. still be on modern map.(2)
