A Graeco-Roman bronze figure of Osiris, from the Roman camp at Swanscombe, is in the British Museum (1-2). There is no established Roman Camp at Swanscombe, only a Roman Building (TQ 67 SW 38). A more likely provenance for this figurine is the Springhead Roman site (Vagniacae) at the SE tip of the parish (TQ 67 SW6) (3). Additional bibliography and reference to site (4,5)
