Thanet SMR 587. A scatter of RB sherds and fragments of building materials were found on the hilltop in 1988. Probably derives from plough damage to the remains of a small building. A ministry of agriculture inspector stated that deep soil samples taken on the hilltop revealed chalk nodules out of their geological setting, possibly evidence of IA farming. (1)
