Ragstone quarry for building stone opened shortly before 1831. (1) Several buildings were set within the quarry. A pair of buildings in the SW corner are noted in 1885 with two more, perhaps shed, at the N end. By 1937 only one building, one the site of the N pair, remined. A small shed was on site in 1994. (2)
