Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1961 Line 7: 6858 Emily is described as ex War Department. She is noted as having a wooden mast case. Her remains were reported visible in 1986. Remains of a craft lying on the mud flat. It does have the same appearance on the photograph (1961) as the other barges. The bow portion appears covered or full while the stern is open/empty. By the 1967 survey (KCC 1967 Line 32: 1392) the vessels quarter to the south east is either broken away or completely buried. The area is not covered on the 1985 survey, but the site does appear on the 1990 survey (KCC 1990 Line 8: 0146).
