Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1961 Line 6 2050 Small barge which is just visible on the mud/saltmarsh, lying roughly north-east - south-west. It does not appear on the 1967 survey, although there is a similar sized barge in a different orientation lying in TQ 8810 7236 (KCC 1967 Line 33: 1261). The area is not covered on the 1985 survey. 1990 survey photograph not available during search. The Admiral Blake is noted as a swimmy which was not registered. She is recorded as being hulked before 1954 and her remains being visible in 1986 (1). The site of the Admiral Blake was visited by members of the Nautical Archaeological Society in 1992. Further survey work was planned (pers comm recorder (1).
