An English spritsail barge, Band of Hope was built at Sittingbourne in 1870. She was derelict at the mouth of Conyer Creek by 1937 and broken up in 1965. No remains are visible now.

Registration No. ROCHESTER 78546 Precise coordinates not available, last known location of vessel reported by Society for Spritsail Barge Research. BAND OF HOPE was built at Sittingbourne by Spencelaugh in 1878. She was owned successively by Packham and Eastwoods. She is noted as derelict in 1937 and as being broken up in 1965. Date reported derelict taken as date of loss. (1). There are no visible remains of the barge. The barge may have been removed, buried in mud or marked in the incorrect location. (2)
