Registration No. ROCHESTER 94559 Precise coordinates not available, last known location of vessel reported by Society for Spritsail Barge Research. BESSIE was built at Murston by Smeed Dean in 1888. She was owned successively by Smeed Dean, and in 1937 Allsworth. She is noted as being a lighter in 1947 and being broken up around 1966. Date reported broken up taken as date of loss.
