Registration No. MALDON 96486 Precise coordinates not available, last known location of vessel reported by Society for Spritsail Barge Research. VENTA (ex Jachin) was built at Maldon by Howard in 1893. She was owned successively by Frost, Shrubsall, Harvey, Rice, Blagden, and Lukins. She is noted as a yacht in 1947, and as a house barge at Dolphin Square, Westminster between 1965 and 1970. Earliest date reported as a house barge taken as date of loss.
