Bayleaf Farmhouse (former location). Re-erected at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, West Sussex. Wealden type farmhouse.

Dendrochronology dating of the pantry wing gave a date range of 1400-1405. (1) A date of 1502-1514 was given for the later solar wing. (2) Further analysis of the service end gave a revised date of c.1391. (3)

Site of a timber framed hall house built 1410-1430 with alterations 1500-1515. The site is now under thr Bough Beech Reservoir, but the house has been dismantled and presented to theSingleton Open Air Museum by the East Surrey Water Company, and re erected.
