Vertical Datum: LAT Built: 1891 Owner: Elder Dempster and Co Vessel, built 1891, sank following collision with Russian SS JUNONA, whilst en-route Hamburg to West Coast Africa. Owned at time of loss by Elder, Dempster and Co. (2) 03-JUN-1908 Wreck, two masts visible. 15-AUG-1909 dispersed to 41ft. 08-OCT-1937 Depth 46ft 24-APR-1978 SMB ENDEAVOUR in 51 08 57N, 001 24 43E Depth 14.4 in general depth 20m, scour 22.4m. Appears encroached by sand. 16-JUL-1992 Copies of builders drawings and sketch of wreck on seabed confirm charted information.
