Vertical Datum: LAT Owner: Great Central Railway Co Vessel, built 1891, was mined and sank 2.5M SE by E of Folkestone pier. Owned at time of loss by Great Central Railway Co. (2-3) 14-FEB-1916 Mast showing. 23-JUN-1960 Drift sweep clear at 32ft. 02-MAR-1961 Depth 35 in 61ft, scour 5ft. 10-MAR-1964 Salvage operations in progress. 12-JUL-1965 After dispersal clear at 49ft, foul at 51ft. 13-DEC-1977 in 51 03 36N, 001 16 01E Depth 16.1 in general depth 21m, scour 22m, height 5.7m, Length 80m. Lying 010/190 deg. 24-JUN-1986 Dived on in 1985. well broken with remains covering large area. Identification confirmed by recovery of damaged bell. Other sources: WW1SL
