[TQ 60535737] Fragments of Roman pottery and Celtic ware and traces of the foundations of a building. (1) "Traces of foundation of a building were found here by Mr. Benj. Harrison in 1900" [Included under Borstal in schedule, entry immediately following Borough Green, but sub. ref. quoted shows this to be an error.] (2) This site falls in a private garden; the owner has never noticed anything connected with building when gardening and nothing was found when an air raid shelter was dug some 25 years ago. The garden shows a slight scatter of late brick and tile only. (3)
