[TQ 62605642] Roman potsherds found A.D. 1928 (NAT) (1) Numerous fragments of Roman cooking pots. Fragments determined by Mr. Thomas May. Visited 19.5.1928. (2) Sim. infm. Specimens in the possession of Sir Edw. Harrison. (3) No further information was gained on these finds and although the general area has had a deep drain dug across it in recent years no other finds have been made. Sir E. Harrison's collection was given on his death to Maidstone Museum but these items could not be identified and no further information was gained there.(4)
