Three round oasts on the southern end of the building appear on the 1st ed. (1862-1875), 2nd ed. (1897-1900), 3rd (1906-1923) and 4th ed. (1906-1952) OS maps. These may have been demolished. There is now a single square oast on the north- eastern corner of the present building.
