Pre-1800 two skeletons and probable grave goods (several small pieces of iron and two iron objects apparently spearheads), were found on the side of Olantigh Mount about 1.5m below the surface, when a sunk fence was dug.. Then before 1842 when the top of the mount was levelled for a bowling green 'bones etc' found, as repoted to Mr. Morris by Mr. Forster, rector of Crundale.
The site lies at the summit
