Summary
In an area just to the north of the road which leads towards the Ritual pools, a cluster of sall early Roman pits were uncovered during excavations at Springhead between 2000 and 2002. In an area just to the north of the road which leads towards the Ritual pools, a cluster of sall early Roman pits were uncovered during excavations at Springhead between 2000 and 2002. These are possibly associated with a circular, clay floored structure situated nearby. Two distinct groups were identified, one to the north of the structure and another to the south. (1-2)
