The Town Mills in Chatham was an electric and steam powered corn mill. Wingent & Kimmins ran the mill until the 1920s but then it lay idle. It was remodelled with a new roller plant in 1928 and in 1956 pneumatic conveyancing was introduced. The mill has since been demolished. The building is shown on the 1897-1900, 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps.
