The former British School for boys and girls, set up by the British & Foreign Schools Society, in Ham Street is shown on the 1862-75 map. On the 1897-1900 map the building is referred to as a Hall. The building was the renamed The Old School House and is shown on the 1907-23, 1929-52 and Current O/S maps. It is now a restaurant.
