A smock mill dated to 1818 from a ground floor beam. The mill had a brick stage with a weatherboarded superstructure. The mill worked until November 26th 1913, when it was burnt to the ground. Much of the machinary was installed by J.Pilbeam in 1887, with a new windshaft being fitted in 1890. (1)
