The former National School in Sturry was opened for boys, girls and infants, as shown on the 1862-75 map. The building continued to be used as a school, as shown on the 1897-1900, 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps. The school has since been demolished and the site used for residential purposes, as shown on the current O/S map.
