The former National School in Selling, for boys and girls, served the parishes of Selling, Sheldwich, Badlesmere and Throwley. It was endowed by a bequest from Sir Thomas Sondes and is shown on the 1862-75 map. The building continued to be usewd as a school, as shown on the 1897-1900, and 1907-23 maps. It is now Selling C of E Primary school, as shown on the current O/S map.
