A smock mill built in the early 19th century. Some restoration was carried out in 1874 when ownership changed hands. There was a bakery attached to the mill for some time, but this also derelict now. The mill ceased work in 1916, and it was considered to turn it into cottages. The mill now stands derelict. A corn windmill is shown on the Ordnance survey 1st edition map of c.1861 to the north of Pluckley, as the mill does not appear on the 1819 Mudge OS. (1-2)
