The former National School for boys and girls is shown on the 1862-75 and 1897-1900 maps. A new Primary School was built on land adjacent to the site and the old building became a Sunday School, as shown on the 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps. It is now the Village Hall, as shown on the current O/S map.
