The former National School in Toys Hill, Brasted was opened in 1825 by the National Society for Promoting Religious Education. It is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900, 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps. It has since been converted into a private residence, The Old School Cottage, as shown on the current O/S map and is still in use.
