The former site of an engine shed associated with Dover Priory Station is visible on later 19th and early 20th century OS maps of Dover. The Station was originally constructed in 1861 and it is expected that this shed is contemporary with it as it appears on the First Edition OS (1862-1875). The station had a major renovation between 1930 and 1932 and it is therefore likely that the engine shed was removed during this renovation as it does not appear on the Fourth Edition OS (1929-1952).
