A (possible swing) bridge is visible on the first edition OS on Union Street between Wellington Dock and the Granville dock. It is labelled Union Bridge and is in the same approximate location as one of the sluice gates which was constructed as part of the original 16th century works on the harbour. By the time the Second Edition was produced the bridge was lo longer present. (1-3)
