The Particular Baptist Church was opened in a former chemist's shop in Snargate Street in the early 1820's. The church the moved to the former Queen Street Congregationalist Chapel in the early 1900's and closed in 1909. The original church is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900 and 1907-23 maps. By the fourth edition OS (1929-1952) it has been demolished. (1-3)
