Summary

A possible ring-ditch was identified by aerial photography at Mount Farm, Lenham. In 2011 the Lenham Archaeological society excavated a trench across the feature. They could not confirm that the features was a ring-ditch but did find a prehistoric mound, possible Bronze Age in date, together with Iron Age pottery and iron slag.

A possible ring-ditch was identified by aerial photography at Mount Farm, Lenham. In 2011 the Lenham Archaeological society excavated a trench across the feature. They could not confirm that the features was a ring-ditch but did find a prehistoric mound, possible Bronze Age in date, together with Iron Age pottery and iron slag. (1)
