Summary

St Paul's Church, New Road, consecrated in January, 1854 was built of Kentish rag with Bath stone dressings, in the Norman Transition style and consisted of apsidal chancel, nave, transepts and tower at the south-east angle of the chancel, containing 1 bell: seated 600. It was demolished in 1978 and is now flats.
