Summary

Two Medieval keystones, one from an arch (possibly for a window) and another from the groined roof of the ancient entrance of the Maison Dieu were located during works on the building undertaken in the 19th century. The stones were donated to Dover Muesum where they are located still. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)

Two Medieval keystones, one from an arch and another from the groined roof of the ancient entrance of the Maison Dieu were located during works on the building undertaken in the 19th century. The stones were donated to Dover Muesum where they are located still. No further information about the circumstances of the discovery of these stones is available. (1)
