The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOUDHURST CHURCH ROAD TQ 7237-7337 (north side)
15/109 Nos 3 to 7 Weavers' Cottages 20.6.67 GV II Terrace row. C17, altered C18. Red and blue chequered brick on ground floor, tile hung on first floor with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and garret on plinth with eaves dropping to ground floor and half-hipped roof with stacks to rear end left, rear centre left and to centre right, with oversailing hip-end of rear wing to centre. Irregular fenestration of leaded wooden casements, 6 on first floor, 7 on ground floor of 2 to 4 lights, with 4 boarded doors in simple recessed archi- traves. Blocked doorway to centre right in front of stack. Catslide outshot to rear. Interior: the main stack is of worked stone to inglenooks, possibly from the old church tower (destroyed 1637). Possibly a lobby-entry house in origin, extended and converted to cottages, and imitated in C18 by Nos 1-2 Weavers' Cottages (see item 15/108). See Bygone Kent, 5/7, July 1984.
