A Military Hospital set up in the Parish Room, Allhallows and run by Kent /16 VAD Higham (Voluntary Aid Detachment). It was opened 24th September 1914 and set up as a 12 bed hospital for the care of the sick at the forts.
The Parish room appears on the historic maps 'Landmark epoch3' but has been demolished and a private house is now on the site.
