The two possible ponds are centred at TR 0739 2426, and are approximately 63m apart. They are both sub-circular in plan view, and measure a maximum of nine metres across. They are not thought to be Second World War bomb craters due to the fact that they are very similar in appearance to nearby similar examples which are all marked on the Ordnance Survey 1907 map of Kent. The most likely agricultural use would be as a pond, but alternative agricultural or industrial functions may also be possible.

Neither of the possible ponds are visible on aerial photographs of 2007; either as earthworks or cropmarks (1-3).
