Summary

Site of heavy anti aircraft (Diver) battery at Capel le Ferne. It was armed with eight 3.7-inch guns, Predictor AA No.10, and Radar AA No3 Mark V radars. It formed part of Dover Section, 71 Anti Aircraft Brigade, from 2nd August 1944, when it was manned by 413 Battery of the 173 Anti Aircraft Regiment. The available aerial photographs which cover this area have been examined as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2), and there was no visible sign of the site at this location.

Site of heavy anti aircraft (Diver) battery at Capel le Ferne. It was armed with eight 3.7-inch guns, Predictor AA No.10, and Radar AA No3 Mark V radars.
