Site of a Second World War Diver rocket projector battery North-West of the Dymchurch Redoubt. This was armed with four batterys of five x twenty Naval Rockets in August 1944. This was manned by Tonsil Rocket Battery of the Royal Navy. (1)

The Second World War Diver rocket projector battery referred to above (Source 1) was not visible on the historical aerial photographs viewed as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP. (2)
